The grapes come from the Altima Estate in Elandskloof Valley, a secluded, cool‐climate vineyard in the Western Cape (Overberg/Cape South Coast). Rupert & Rothschild Vignerons In terms of character, the wine typically shows aromas of tropical fruit (guava, kiwi, sometimes fig), as well as citrus notes like grapefruit, and a flinty/mineral edge. Cape of Good Hope Wines On the palate it tends to be crisp, energetic, with bright acidity and good minerality — often with a long finish.
